Understanding Formula One Racing

Formula One racing as it is today developed from EU Grand Prix racing of the early 1900s. Though it’s still considered an EU sport, more of each season’s World Championship events are held at locations outside of Europe than in Europe itself. The top Formula One racing groups do have european home bases.

Denny Hamlin Wins Pennsylvania 500 NASCAR Race

Denny Hamlin, pegged as a future NASCAR superstar, ended a sophomore slump of sorts when he won the rain delayed Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway. The race had originally been scheduled for a day earlier but was pushed back due to rain. The win was Hamlin’s first of the season and broke a 50 race winless streak. His last victory had come in 2008 at Martinsville Raceway.
